Marlins Youth Academy Spring Tee Ball Initiative

Rooted in Community, Driven by Passion — The Marlins’ Promise to South Florida

In 2019, the Marlins made a promise to the community of South Florida, a promise to help champion the prosperity and accessibility of local youth baseball and softball leagues.

The Miami Marlins Foundation partners with recreational tee ball organizations to reduce financial barriers to play, providing uniforms, caps, and essential equipment to help reduce registration fees and expand access for all youth to participate in the game.

In 2025 alone, over 4467 youngsters benefited from the Miami Marlins Tee Ball Initiative presented by UHealth.

For 2026, the Miami Marlins will continue to follow through on our commitment by partnering with 24 leagues, once again ensuring over 3,0000 children from the Florida Keys to Palm Beach County will have the opportunity to play.
