Expected return: End of July/early August
Status: Has thrown out to 75 feet and is in the process of ramping up activity. Had been managing the issue, which is similar to the one he had in 2025, all season. Got to the point that he needed to rest it. (updated: July 22) More >>

Injury: Left lateral ankle sprain
IL date: July 9 (15-day IL, retroactive to July 8)
Expected return: Maybe July 23 homestand
Status: Threw to hitters during week of July 20 and is expected to return soon. Was going through pitching drills in the outfield on July 8 and stepped awkwardly to roll his ankle. (updated: July 22) More >>

Injury: Right calf strain
IL date: July 9 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Week of July 27
Status: Has been able to hit, increase defensive work and run without issues. Felt some tightness on July 7, which initially cleared July 8, but returned significantly enough that he exited that day's game. (updated: July 22) More >>

Expected return: End of July/early August

IL date: May 30 (retroactive to May 28, transferred to 60-day IL on June 1)
Expected return: September
Status: Cleared to resume throwing and working through throwing progression. First felt the discomfort in mid-April in Atlanta but it never affected his pitching. Had trouble breathing leading up to testing. (updated: July 17) More >>
