Judge left the Yankees' Sept. 16 game with right lower leg tightness.
Blake Snell, Shohei Ohtani, Andy Pages, Roki Sasaki and Edwin Díaz, Dodgers
Snell left his Sept. 16 start against the Reds after one inning with left groin tightness. He hopes to make another start before the end of the regular season.
Ohtani (left knee and right biceps soreness) started a swinging progression on Sept. 15.
Pages (left hand fracture) is "very likely" to be activated during the Dodgers' final homestand (Sept. 18-24) without going on a rehab assignment, manager Dave Roberts said.
Sasaki (right middle finger blister) threw four simulated innings on Sept. 16. He will likely start during the Dodgers' final home series against the Padres from Sept. 22-24.
Díaz (neck inflammation) made what could be his final rehab appearance with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sept. 16, pitching a scoreless inning.
Garrett Crochet, Tanner Houck, Ceddanne Rafaela, Johan Oviedo, Anthony Seigler, Curtis Mead, Tyron Guerrero and Justin Slaten, Red Sox
Crochet (left shoulder inflammation) worked out on Sept. 17 in Worcester and is scheduled to play catch and throw Sept. 18.
Houck (torn right UCL/right flexor pronator strain) is expected to make his fourth rehab appearance on Sept. 18 with Triple-A Worcester, aiming for 45-50 pitches, before being re-evaluated.
Rafaela (right quad strain) has increased his sprint and agility work as of Sept. 17, but there is still no timeline for his return to game action.
Oviedo (right flexor strain) made his first rehab appearance on Sept. 17 with Triple-A Worcester, allowing one run in 2 1/3 innings and striking out four.
Seigler (right wrist discomfort) is dealing with inflammation due to a bony abscess in his wrist. He will be re-assessed during the final week of the regular season.
Mead (left wrist fracture) was scheduled to begin hitting off a tee with an underload bat on Sept. 16.
Guerrero (right shoulder inflammation) threw aggressively Sept. 17 without issue and is expected to throw approximately eight or nine pitches off the slope Sept. 18.
Slaten (right elbow inflammation) has been shut down for the year after doctors found degenerative changes in his right flexor mass.
Chase DeLauter and Angel Martínez, Guardians
DeLauter (right wrist soreness) and Martínez (right flank inflammation) both remained out of the lineup through Sept. 16.
Colson Montgomery, White Sox
Montgomery left the White Sox Sept. 16 game after being hit by a pitch on his left wrist. X-rays came back negative, but Montgomery was out of the lineup on Sept. 17 and remains day to day.
Jared Young, Devin Williams and Cionel Pérez, Mets
Young was carted off the field after being struck in the head in a collision with pitcher Nolan McLean during the sixth inning on Sept. 17. He was transported to a hospital for further examination, the Mets announced.
Williams (right shoulder strain) threw live batting practice on Sept. 17 and could come off the IL either during the weekend of Sept. 18-20 or early in the week of Sept. 21.
Pérez (left forearm strain) had his rehab assignment advanced to Triple-A Syracuse on Sept. 15 and should return before the end of the season.
Brandon Woodruff and Grant Anderson, Brewers
Woodruff (right shoulder inflammation) is throwing at 105 feet and is scheduled to be evaluated for a return to the mound at the end of September.
Anderson (right biceps inflammation) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Sept. 16.
Jesús Luzardo, Phillies
Luzardo, who was scratched from his Sept. 12 start with left shoulder soreness, was placed on the 15-day injured list with left shoulder inflammation on Sept. 15.
Shane Bieber, Trey Yesavage, Anthony Santander and Jameson Taillon, Blue Jays
Bieber (right teres major inflammation) threw off of flat ground on Sept. 15 but is pushing back his first mound session by a couple of days to Sept. 18 or 20, putting a regular season return at risk.
Yesavage (left meniscus surgery) threw 34 pitches in a rehab appearance for Triple-A Buffalo on Sept. 15. He is expected to rejoin the rotation for his next appearance.
Santander (left shoulder labral surgery) has not appeared in a rehab game since Sept. 11 because of lower back tightness.
Taillon (right elbow inflammation) said on Sept. 15 that his season is over.
Carlos Correa and Steven Okert, Astros
Manager Joe Espada said on Sept. 15 that Correa (left ankle surgery) will not return this season.
Okert (right hamstring strain) is progressing through a throwing program but had yet to get back on the mound as of Sept. 15.
Rafael Devers, Giants
Devers was placed on the 60-day injured list on Sept. 13 with a core muscle injury that he’d been playing through for much of the season. He underwent surgery on Sept. 15, for which the recovery is expected to take about three months.
Dansby Swanson, Justin Steele, Shelby Miller and Hunter Harvey, Cubs
Swanson (left oblique strain) had the beginning of his rehab assignment with Triple-A Iowa delayed by weather on Sept. 15. He could still return as early as Sept. 18.
Steele (left elbow flexor strain) threw a bullpen session in Chicago on Sept. 13 and will return to Triple-A Iowa to continue his rehab assignment on Sept. 15.
Miller (right elbow surgery) has been shut down for the remainder of the 2026 season with the goal of having him ready for 2027.
Harvey (right triceps/shoulder stress reaction) has also been shut down for the remainder of the season.
Joshua Báez, Cardinals
Báez left the Cardinals' Sept. 16 game in the 10th inning with left side discomfort and was being evaluated postgame.
Jackson Holliday and Kyle Bradish, Orioles
Holliday was placed on the 10-day IL on Sept. 16 with left wrist inflammation. He will be out at least until the final weekend of the regular season.
Bradish, who was placed on the 15-day IL on Sept. 13 with abdominal discomfort, has been diagnosed with a sports hernia and is exploring his potential treatment options including surgery.
Reynaldo López and Joe Jiménez, Braves
López was placed on the 15-day IL on Sept. 15 due to right shoulder inflammation.
Jiménez (left knee surgery) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett on Sept. 15. A 2026 return remains extremely unlikely.
Jason Adam and Miguel Andujar, Padres
Adam (right shoulder strain) has made two rehab appearances with Triple-A El Paso, including one on Sept. 16. It is unclear whether he will require a third rehab outing.
Andujar (right wrist fracture) began a rehab stint with Triple-A El Paso on Sept. 8 and is nearing a return, as of a Sept. 16 update.
Kaelen Culpepper and Trevor Larnach, Twins
Culpepper was placed on the 10-day IL on Sept. 16 with a mild left hamstring strain. He could return during the final weekend of the regular season.
Larnach (right wrist soreness) underwent an MRI on Sept. 14. He participated in baseball activities on Sept. 15 but remained out of the lineup through Sept. 16.
Spencer Steer, Reds
Steer (right wrist sprain) has been taking dry swings and will hit off of a velocity machine during the Reds' final road trip from Sept. 22-27 before heading to Arizona for possible at-bats in the Arizona Fall League.
Brent Rooker, Gage Jump, Nick Kurtz and Joshua Kuroda-Grauer, Athletics
Rooker (left knee bone bruise) has begun a swing progression as of Sept. 17 and is hopeful to take batting practice before the end of the season.
Jump was placed on the injured list on Sept. 15 with a left shoulder impingement, ending his season.
Kurtz (right thumb strain) has started a swing progression as of Sept. 15. A 2026 return has been ruled out.
Kuroda-Grauer (ruptured testicle) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas on Sept. 18 but remains unlikely to return in 2026.
Jack Leiter and Joc Pederson, Rangers
Leiter (right ankle arthroscopic surgery) is expected to throw a bullpen session during the weekend of Sept. 18-20 with an eye on a return for potential postseason run.
Pederson (left hand fracture) still hasn’t swung a bat as of Sept. 17, but swelling in his hand has gone down over the past few days. He has been gripping a light bat to get strength and movement back.
Manuel Rodríguez, Tyler Wells and Ben Williamson, Rays
Rodríguez (low back strain) made his second rehab appearance with Triple-A Durham on Sept. 16, allowing two unearned runs in 1 1/3 innings and striking out two.
Wells (right forearm tightness) was placed on the 15-day IL on Sept. 15. Imaging revealed no structural damage and he is expected back during the postseason.
Williamson (right hamstring strain) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Sept. 15.
Pete Fairbanks and Anthony Bender, Marlins
Fairbanks was placed on the 15-day IL on Sept. 15 due to nerve irritation in his right hand. He will miss the remainder of the 2026 season.
Bender elected to undergo season-ending surgery to address a stress reaction in his right shin. He is expected to have a normal Spring Training in 2027.
Kyle Finnegan, Jack Flaherty and Justin Verlander, Tigers
Finnegan was placed on the 15-day IL on Sept. 17 with left groin inflammation.
Flaherty (right flexor inflammation) will make a rehab start for Triple-A Toledo in the coming days before potentially returning.
Verlander (left hip inflammation, left hamstring strain) threw a bullpen session on Sept. 15 and will throw a simulated game on Sept. 19 in Chicago before being evaluated for a potential return during the final weekend of the regular season.
Hunter Goodman and Willi Castro, Rockies
Goodman left the Rockies' Sept. 14 game with right thumb soreness. He remained out of the lineup through Sept. 17 but had reported improvement.
Castro (left heel plantar fasciitis, right knee soreness) will miss the rest of 2026, he said on Sept. 16.
Nolan Schanuel, George Klassen and Samy Natera Jr., Angels
Schanuel (right intercostal muscle strain) was scratched from his scheduled rehab appearance with Triple-A Salt Lake on Sept. 15 due to irritation. He will receive treatment and be evaluated back in Anaheim and might not have enough time to return this year.
Klassen (left low back inflammation) has been playing catch and threw a bullpen session on Sept. 15.
Natera was placed on the 15-day IL on Sept. 16 with left forearm inflammation after feeling discomfort during the Angels' recent road trip. He underwent an MRI and was scheduled to undergo further imaging Sept. 17 to determine next steps but will not be eligible to return this season.
