Missed the entire season while recovering from Tommy John surgery...Underwent Tommy John surgery on Oct. 6, 2023. 

2023

Pitched in 50 games, including 30 at the Major League level, in Pittsburgh's organization...Recorded a 3-2 record in the big leagues and posted a 3.72 ERA (12 ER/29.0 IP) with 44 strikeouts and 11 walks...Held left-handed batters to a .125 batting average (5-for-40) in the Majors...Was placed on the 15-day injured list on Aug. 19 with a left forearm straight, and was subsequently transferred to the 60-day injured list, missing the remainder of the season...Underwent Tommy John surgery on Oct. 6.

Went a combined 4-2 with a 1.85 ERA (34.0ip/7er), 56 strikeouts, .149 batting average against and 1.03 WHIP in 26 appearances (two starts) between Nashville (Brewers’ Triple-A), the Arizona Complex League Brewers Blue and Durham (Rays’ Triple-A)…Made three appearances with Nashville before being placed on the seven-day injured list on 4/12…Was transferred to the 60-day injured list on 6/14 before beginning a rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League on 7/12…Was claimed off waivers by Tampa Bay on 7/19 and optioned to Durham…Allowed two unearned runs while striking out 15 batters in 8.0 innings in his first seven outings with Durham…Was designated for assignment on 7/30, cleared waivers and outrighted to Durham…Allowed one earned run in 13.2 innings while posting a .091 batting average against and 0.51 WHIP in nine appearances (two starts) during the month of August…Allowed six of his seven earned runs on the season in nine appearances during the month of September.
