During his time with the Orioles, Bryan collaborated with Mobtown Brewing Company, a Baltimore-based brewery, to create the “Shake ‘n Baker Hardball Pale Ale”, a light, refreshing summertime ale…a portion of the proceeds from each beer sold went to Blue Water Baltimore, an organization focused on keeping the city’s streams and waterways free of trash and debris…the label on the cans, which was created by Baltimore designer and illustrator Andy Smith, featured an orange-and-black, Orioles-themed font and a cartoon-like sketch of Bryan...After Bryan was sent home from Blue Jays alternate training site in 2020, he returned to his parent’s house in Florida and worked a retail job at Target with his sister, Chelsea, in hopes of saving money for offseason training…his main responsibility was pushing carts around the store to pack mobile orders for customers…his hard work paid off, as he was able to afford to work out at Cressey Sports Performance in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., the same offseason training site he had used since 2017...His grandfather, Ed, played football at Auburn University and his cousin, Matt Krembel, played golf at Army from 2008-11…Bryan is an avid golfer himself and takes an annual golf trip to Myrtle Beach with several of his friends from high school...He was a multi-sport athlete growing up, focusing primarily on baseball and basketball… he also played soccer, football and tennis, skateboarded, and began basic weight training at an early age...Bryan and his wife, Cassidy, were married last November.
