Began the season with the Mariners' organization for the second consecutive season and played in 87 games for Triple-A Tacoma before being traded to TOR on July 26 for RHP Trent Thornton...On Aug. 29 with TOR, received the first big league call-up of his career...went on to appear in six games as a Blue Jay, going 0-for-1 with one SO...appeared at SS six times as a defensive replacement...the Blue Jays were 5-1 with him on their roster...Optioned back to BUF on Sept. 8 before being DFA’d by TOR on Sept. 20, and outrighted back to BUF two days later...At the time of his promotion, had split the season at the at the Triple-A level between BUF and TAC, hitting .226 (91-for402) over 108 G with 21 2B, three 3B, 12 HR and 64 RBI...Overall at Triple-A, posted Minor League career highs in RBI (65), stolen bases (25), walks (59) and strikeouts (146) at a .221 (92-for-417) clip across 114 combined games...Spent time defensively at SS (84 G), 2B (12 G), and third (9 G)…turned in a combined .986 fielding % (6 errors)...Signed a Minor League contract with the Padres on Nov. 18.

Acquired by Seattle from Baltimore in exchange for cash consideration April 7 and spent the entire season with Triple-A Tacoma, where he posted a career-high .805 OPS...overall, hit .256 (113x442) with 72 runs scored, 23 doubles, five triples, 21 home runs, 63 RBI, 50 walks, 63 RBI and 22 stolen bases.
