Attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2019-21 and was named to the Golden Spikes Award preseason watch list entering his junior year...also earned preseason First-Team All-American honors by Baseball America...Played in the Little League World Series in 2013 with his Eastlake team from Chula Vista, Calif., and tossed a no-hitter while striking out 13 batters in a 3-0 win against Michigan...Became the first pitcher since 1979 to throw an extra-inning no-hitter and first to do so after the 85-pitch limit was introduced in 2007...Eastlake went through as the U.S. champions but fell 6-4 to Japan in the international title game.

2025

In 22 games (two starts) in his second season with the Athletics, went 4-2 with a 5.09 ERA (13 ER in 23.0 IP), nine walks and 17 strikeouts...Began the season with Triple-A Las Vegas and posted eight scoreless appearances (9.1 IP) with one walk and nine strikeouts before being recalled on April 23...Made his last appearance with the Athletics on June 11 before being placed on the injured list (right rotator cuff tendinitis) and missing the remainder of the season.
