Graduated from Heritage Hall High School (Okla.), where he went 9-0 with a 0.13 ERA as a senior. Jobe was named Oklahoma’s Gatorade Player of the Year and the Prep Baseball Report Player of the Year. His father, Brandt, has been a professional golfer since 1988 and is currently on the PGA Champions Tour. Selected by the Tigers in the first-round (third overall) of the 2021 MLB Draft out of Heritage Hall High School (signing scout: Steve Taylor). Made his Major League debut on Sept. 25, 2024, against Tampa Bay.
