Dodgers claim Grant Holman

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers claimed right-handed pitcher Grant Holman from the Arizona Diamondbacks. In order to make room for Holman on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred right-handed pitcher Gavin Stone to the 60-day injured list.

Holman, 25, was designated for assignment on March 25 by the Diamondbacks. He made 22 appearances for the Athletics in 2025, going 4-2 with a 5.09 ERA and struck out 17 batters over 23 innings. He made his debut in 2024 with the Chicago White Sox, going 1-1 with a 4.02 ERA in 18 games. He was a PCL All-Star in 2024 with the Las Vegas Aviators, posting a 0.92 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 29.1 innings. He was originally drafted by the Athletics in the sixth round of the 2021 First Year Player Draft out of the University of California, Berkeley.
