Drew Burress' power has been on display since his first swing in the A's system last week, and he kept showing it off Sunday for Single-A Stockton.

It’s a busy time around the Athletics farm with 2026 draftees arriving, none louder than first-round pick (No. 8 overall) Drew Burress, who crushed his first pro homer in his Single-A Stockton debut on Tuesday night.

But prime development is still happening elsewhere, namely Double-A Midland, where 2025 first-rounder
