Kids for Dodger Baseball

Kids 4 Dodger Baseball gives an all-inclusive gameday experience to students from schools, youth centers, nonprofits, and similar organizations from the Greater Los Angeles area, who may not otherwise be able to attend a baseball game due to economic hardship.

The experience includes transportation to and from Dodger Stadium, tickets (provided through Major League Baseball’s Commissioner’s Community Initiative), a K4DB t-shirt, and a meal voucher for Dodger Stadium concessions.

FAQs

Does my group qualify for Kids 4 Dodger Baseball?

  • In order to quality for the program, you must represent a school, youth center, nonprofit, or similar organization.
  • Your organization must find it an economic hardship to attend a game. Please consider the groups who will most benefit from this experience before applying.
  • Participants should range from ages 5-18.
  • Your group must reside within the Greater Los Angeles region. Other groups outside this but in Southern California will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • You must coordinate travel as a large group and do not qualify if you cannot. No individual carpools will be allowed as the Dodgers will provide charter bus transportation, help coordinate public transportation or assist with other means or travel.
  • Groups will be selected based on need, previous participation in the program, and game date availability.

How does K4DB Work?

  • Apply on behalf of your organization online. You will be notified if your group is selected.
  • Finalize game date, transportation information, and group information with your Dodgers representative.
  • Receive package containing K4DB shirts and confirm all items are included.
  • Enjoy the game at Dodger Stadium.
  • Fill out wrap up survey.

What is the policy regarding K4DB?

  • All game tickets must be utilized.
  • The Dodgers have a zero-tolerance policy for misuse of tickets. Organizations that are reselling tickets or using them for purposes other than the mission or the organization, will not be eligible for K4DB again.
  • Groups participating in the program must pay any and all fees, costs, and expenses relating to any untimely changes and/or cancellations of the charter buses that are scheduled for your group’s experience.
  • K4DB participants may be featured on Dodger Vision during the game. Organizations who wish not to be featured for privacy reasons should alert their Dodgers’ representatives ahead of the game.

What do I have to do after the game?

  • Tag @Dodgers and hashtags #K4DB and #DodgersOfftheField with photos from your Kids 4 Dodger Baseball experience on social media platforms.
  • We ask that you send a final report detailing the use of the tickets.
  • Share photos from the game with your Dodger Representative!
  • Organizations are asked to recognize the Kids 4 Dodger Baseball contribution to your supporters and clients.
