The Phillies winter home continues to be Clearwater, FL. First spring training there was in 1947 at Clearwater Athletic Field. Carpenter Complex opened in 1967, the first time all Phillies minor league players trained in the same Florida community. BayCare Ballpark opened in 2004, initially named Bright House Field.
