Internships

Our Summer Internship Program provides undergraduate students with hands-on experience across all areas of the Boston Red Sox. Interns are embedded within their departments and contribute to meaningful projects while gaining exposure to the business of sports and entertainment.

Throughout the summer, interns participate in professional development programming designed to build industry knowledge, expand their networks, and support their career growth.

Who is eligible to apply?
Undergraduate students currently enrolled in a college or university.

Are internships paid?
Yes, interns are paid minimum wage and eligible for overtime pay.

Do I apply for a specific department?
Intern applicants will apply to the general internship and have the opportunity to discuss departmental preferences during their interview process.

Where are internships located?
This internship is based in our Boston office.

Do all departments host interns each year?
Opportunities vary annually based on business needs.

I can only participate in a portion of the internship due to school, travel, or other work commitments. Is that okay?
We can only consider candidates who are available for the entirety of the internship program which begins early June and ends mid-August.
