Community Ticket Request

Alongside Major League Baseball, the Royals provide complimentary tickets to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations through the Commissioner’s Community Initiative program. By way of these efforts, the Royals enhance the lives of underprivileged and at-risk youth, the medically dependent or disabled, and senior citizens. All requests are subject to review, schools, and church groups are not eligible to participate.

Eligibility:

  • To be eligible for Royals Community Tickets, organizations must request a minimum of 20 tickets and a maximum of 200 tickets per submission.
  • Organizations may request up to six (6) games throughout the regular season.
  • Please ensure your group can utilize at least 70% of the requested tickets, as requests cannot be changed once submitted. See “Ticket Utilization” below”.

Ticket Utilization:

  • The Royals require that all participating groups must utilize at least 70% of tickets donated, as ticket usage is tracked.
  • If a group falls below the 70% utilization rate, they will be ineligible to receive tickets for the remainder of the season.
  • Utilization is measured by tickets scanned at the game.
    • Exceptions may be considered for unforeseen circumstances, but approval is at the discretion of the Royals.
  • Organizations that are unable to use the tickets donated are still responsible for ensuring they can utilize the tickets allotted to them. Please review schedules, staffing requirements, transportation, and other considerations before requesting tickets.

Tickets:

  • All tickets are delivered digitally through the MLB Ballpark app within 48 hours of the game date.
  • Please ensure your email address is spelled correctly as that is where tickets will be sent (if approved).

  • Once a request has been submitted, it cannot be altered or exchanged for another game.
    • Organizations are responsible for ensuring they can utilize the tickets allotted to them for each game that has been approved. Please review schedules, staffing requirements, transportation, and other considerations before requesting tickets.
