Houston Astros Coca-Cola Shooting Stars Auditions
The Houston Astros are hosting auditions to be a member of the 2027 Coca-Cola Shooting Stars team!
We are seeking dynamic, well-spoken, and talented individuals with drive and dedication to create a family-friendly atmosphere and interactive experience for our fans at Houston Astros home games. As a member of the Coca-Cola Shooting Stars, you will also have a visible role as a dancer performer and an ambassador of the Houston Astros brand in and around Houston, adding a more personal touch to games and community events. If you're an Astros fan and this sounds like you, we encourage you to audition for the Coca-Cola Shooting Stars!
Audition Information
This year’s open auditions will be held via video submission. Registration will open on Monday, September 14, 2026 through Friday, November 6, 2026.
Those who advance to the in-person call back will be notified via email on Tuesday, November 10.
Online submission requirements:
- Two Videos: 15 second introduction and 60 second freestyle dance
- Freestyle dance should be a choreographed pom style dance and highlight candidate’s best pom style moves
- Please make sure you’re in a well-lit area
- Performance ready hair and makeup
- Form fitting athletic wear (no midriffs, please)
- Athletic shoe preference
- Two photos: 1 headshot and 1 full length photo

Union Station is located at the corner of Texas Avenue and Crawford Street across from the 500 Crawford Apartments.
Parking: Complimentary parking is available in Lot A on the East side of Daikin Park underneath Highway 59. Street parking is available for a fee. Please note, the Astros are not responsible for any tickets, towing, or boots associated with parking outside of Lot A.
Qualifying for the in-person call back does not guarantee that you will qualify for Day 2 or Day 3.
What to Wear
Day 1:
• Form fitting athletic wear (no midriffs, please)
• Athletic shoe of preference
• Performance ready appearance
Day 2:
• Professional interview attire
• Interview-appropriate appearance
Day 3:
• Black spandex shorts/black form fitting tank top (no midriffs, please)
• White athletic shoe of preference
• Performance ready appearance
Candidate Information
If selected to join the Coca-Cola Shooting Stars team for 2027, you commit to attending all mandatory events, including but not limited to:
- Team Onboarding: December 2, 2026: 6:30pm-10:00pm
- Dance Practice: January 5, 7, 12 & 14, February 9 & 11, March 9, 11, 16, 18 and 23 **Nighttime Practices are 6:30pm-9:30pm
- Photo/Video Shoot: January 16 (All Day)
- Fan Fest: January 23 (All Day)
- Media Day: January 30 (All Day)
- Bootcamp: February 6-7 (All Day)
- Junior Shooting Stars Clinic: June 5, July 17, August 7
Time Commitment: Subject to add additional practice times Preseason:
- November - January: 6 hours weekly
- Practice: 2 times a week (3 hours each)
- Events as scheduled
- February - March: 15 hours weekly
- April - September: 15 -25 hours weekly
- Game Day (5-7 hours)
- Practice: 2 times a month (3 hours each)
- Events as scheduled
Candidates will be judged on the following:
- Personality and enthusiasm
- Strong dance background and display a high level of performance quality
- Ability to positively represent the Astros brand
- Knowledge of the Astros organization and game of baseball
- Capacity to work in a group
