Community Makeover and Field Renovation

2026 Community Makeover Recap

Over 600 volunteers participated in the annual Community Makeover service day on July 23.

The Cincinnati Reds, P&G and the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, along with Cincinnati Children’s, GE Aerospace, Kroger, United Way of Greater Cincinnati and Greater Cincinnati Foundation selected the Cincinnati neighborhood of Winton Hills for the 2026 Community Makeover.

Now in its 17th year, the Community Makeover brings together Cincinnati’s most historic and iconic institutions with local community partners to create a lasting, transformative impact in a Greater Cincinnati neighborhood while strengthening youth baseball and softball programs.

2025 Community Makeover Recap

2024 Community Makeover Recap

In 2024, the Community Makeover focused its efforts on the Cincinnati neighborhood of Bond Hill. The anchor project site for the Bond Hill Makeover was the Xavier Jesuit Academy, a scholarship-funded, faith-based school for boys that opened its doors for the first time in August 2024. Additional project sites included the Bond Hill academy, community center, park and food pantry.

2023 COMMUNITY MAKEOVER RECAP

On July 27, the Reds Community Fund teamed up with the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, P&G and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, along with more than 400 volunteers to work on projects in four different locations in Madisonville. The day of service was the culmination of the 14^th annual Community Makeover, which impacts a neighborhood in Cincinnati each year with transformative and sustainable projects to better the community.
