Yankee Stadium Guest Code of Conduct

While on Yankee Stadium property, Guests must at all times (a) comply with (i) this Yankee Stadium Guest Code of Conduct, (ii) the Yankee Stadium Policies and Procedures, (iii) any other rules issued by the New York Yankees and/or any other applicable event organizer or governing body (e.g., Major League Baseball) with respect to a particular event and (iv) applicable law; and (b) follow the direction of Yankee Stadium Team Members* and any public law enforcement official (“Law Enforcement Official”), including, but not limited to the New York City Police Department.

Guests who do not comply with the foregoing in any way face immediate ejection and revocation of season tickets and/or future ticket privileges without refund, and may also be in violation of applicable law, resulting in possible arrest and prosecution. Non-compliance shall be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the Yankees or any Law Enforcement Official, as applicable.

Special rules, policies and procedures may also apply and be enforced at a specific event. Yankee Stadium management reserves the right to change or modify any Yankee Stadium rule, policy or procedure without notice.

To help maintain an enjoyable environment, the following guidelines have been established:

  • Consume alcoholic beverages only in a responsible manner.

  • Only sit in the seats for which they have tickets and present their tickets to Yankee Stadium Team Members upon request.

  • Comply with requests and directions from Yankee Stadium Team Members.

  • Be courteous to Yankee Stadium neighbors when entering and leaving Yankee Stadium.

  • Restrict movement in the seating area during event action and cheer in a manner that does not interfere with fellow Guests’ enjoyment.

  • The Yankees urge Guests to use caution when moving around Yankee Stadium and while walking up and down the aisles and through the seating areas. Do not lean on, reach over, sit on, or stand near or place objects on railings or ledges.

  • Guests must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcohol. Proper identification is required of all Guests and must be presented, regardless of age, to purchase any alcoholic beverage.

  • Attempting to use fraudulent identification, purchasing alcohol for a minor or any Guest who has been denied alcohol service, and/or attempting to purchase or possessing alcohol as a minor will result in immediate ejection without refund and possible arrest and/or revocation of season tickets and/or future ticket privileges.

  • If alcoholic beverages are available for sale at an event, there is a limit of two alcoholic beverages per eligible person per sale at concession stands on the concourses, and one alcoholic beverage per eligible person, per sale from vendors selling in the seating areas.

  • Small umbrellas are permitted in Yankee Stadium; however, an umbrella may only be used if, when open, it provides protection only to the Guest holding it and does not interfere with other Guests’ enjoyment of the event, or compromise other Guests’ ability to view the event. Large and/or golf umbrellas are not permitted in Yankee Stadium. Guests may be asked to close their umbrella if it is obstructing the view of other Guests.

The following actions are prohibited:

  • Any behavior (including speech or gesture) that is inappropriate, which shall include, but not be limited to any behavior that is illegal or that:

    • is detrimental to the experience of other Guests or interferes with their enjoyment of the event;

    • involves entry into any restricted or unauthorized area or for which a person does not have an appropriate ticket or credential;

    • involves throwing any substance or object of any kind;

    • fails to comply with directions from a Yankee Stadium Team Member or any Law Enforcement Official or interferes with the work of a Yankee Stadium Team Member or any Law Enforcement Official;

    • is dangerous, violent, inciteful of violence, unruly, disruptive, offensive, indecent or obscene; or threatens, taunts, abuses, intimidates or harasses another person including, but not limited to on account of that person’s race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation or disability.

    • involve betting-related abusive fan speech and behavior directed at players, players’ family members, club personnel, or umpires.

  • Displaying inappropriate behavior toward Yankee Stadium Team Members and/or fellow Guests

  • Disrupting or interfering with the applicable event, including, but not limited to (a) if a sports event, interfering with balls in play, entering the playing field, or placing, dropping, tossing or hurling any substance or object onto the playing field or anywhere else in Yankee Stadium,** or (b) if a concert or graduation, interfering with the progression of the event, entering any restricted area (such as a stage), or placing, dropping, tossing or throwing any substance or object onto a restricted area (such as a stage) or anywhere else in Yankee Stadium or attempting to do so.

  • Fighting, taunting or making threatening gestures

  • Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes

  • Damaging or attempting to damage Yankee Stadium and/or its property

  • Possessing or using illegal drugs

  • Obstructing the view of fellow Guests with excessive standing

  • Sitting or standing on seat backs, standing on seats or stepping over or on seats

  • Standing or sitting in the walkways, aisles, ramps or stairways

  • Placing cups or other items on walls and ledges

  • Throwing or kicking objects
