Cecelia Perez is a Bay Area artist whose work is rooted in Chicano culture, custom cars, strong women, and community. As founder of Hey Ruca, she collaborates with major teams and brands to honor tradition while pushing culture forward across mediums.
Artist Series

Now in its third season, the Giants' Artist Series continues as a retail collection that celebrates the intersection of sports, art, and Bay Area culture. Following last year's celebrated collaboration with Cecelia Perez, whose tribute to Chicano culture became one of the most popular collections at Oracle Park, the program builds on that momentum with a new lineup of cultural voices.
The 2026 series features original artwork from SumoFish, whose work reflects his Japanese American heritage, Hawaii upbringing, and deep love of the ocean and sea creatures; Faviana Rodriguez, a queer artist whose bold, colorful work celebrates interdependence, movement, and possibility; and LeRoid David, a San Francisco native and proud second-generation Filipino American illustrator and graphic designer. Each collection captures the spirit of the Giants through a distinct cultural lens, with designs releasing throughout the season.
Meet the Artists

Beyond the Artist Series, one creative partnership has grown into something even larger.
Jesse Hernandez, known as Urban Aztec, is a Bay Area native whose artistic voice was shaped by the vibrant mural scene of San Francisco's Mission District, where Latin culture has long found expression through bold, unapologetic public art. In 2023, that vision came to life at Oracle Park when Hernandez collaborated with the Giants on a Gigantes retail collection tied to the team's Mexico City games.
What began as a collection has since evolved into something far more significant. This season, Hernandez's artistry is woven into the Giants' official Gigantes uniform, worn every Saturday home game as part of the Fiesta Gigantes celebration at Oracle Park. It is a milestone that reflects the depth of a relationship built on mutual respect for culture and creativity.
The Bay Area has always been enriched by the communities that call it home. It only makes sense that our uniform reflects that richness too.
