Grandstand Seats

Installed during the 1933-34 off-season, Fenway Park's wooden grandstand seats serve as living tributes to the ballpark's history. A fire in January 1934 interrupted renovations, but the park was ready for Opening Day, including these seats. Roughly 75 years later, as part of major improvements between 2008 and 2010, the seats were refurbished and reinstalled.
Fans who attend games at Fenway Park today can sit in the same seats their grandparents (and great-grandparents) sat in decades prior.
