Parking Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
When do parking lots open?
Parking lots typically open 2 hours prior to the scheduled start of the game. Please check the “Know Before You Go” email to confirm lot opening times for your specific game.
Does parking ever sell out for Sox games?
Yes! Parking does sell out, and offsite parking is not guaranteed. To secure your gameday parking, please buy a parking pass prior to the day of the game.
If I buy a North Lot parking pass, may I park in the South lots when I arrive?
No. To ensure smooth traffic flow and efficiency on a gameday, please buy your preferred lot designation.
I need ADA parking accommodations; where should I park?
Designated ADA parking spaces are available in Lot B, Lot C, and Lot E with a parking pass and a state-issued disabled parking placard or plate.
- Guests holding tickets for Rate Club, Suite, or CIBC Scout Club with a state-issued disabled parking permit or plate will be directed to park in the marked ADA parking in Lot E.
- North OR South lot guests with ADA parking passes and placards/plates will be directed to Lot C.
- Accessible parking stalls are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once full, fans will be directed to the nearest lot where standard parking stalls are still available.
How do I know that parking staff are affiliated with the Chicago White Sox?
All White Sox parking staff will be wearing a White Sox staff name tag. No individuals associated with the White Sox will ask to collect payment for parking outside of the parking lots. All parking payments are cashless. Guests to Rate Field should not provide their credit card to anyone outside of the parking lots.

Access to Prepaid Parking Lots
If you have Prepaid parking, please follow the traffic routes for easy access to the specific Lot:
- Red North Lots A, C, G - access via 33rd Street and Wells (Location Pin)
- Yellow North Lot Premium Lot B - access via 33rd Street and Wells (Location Pin)
- Purple South Premium Lot E - access via Wentworth and 37th Street (Location Pin)
- Green South Lots F, L - access via 39th Street and Princeton (Location Pin)
